Depends on application

These catsuits are made of a very thin and VERY stretchy fabric that is NOT spandex. It feel like a light huggy pair of pajamas.if used for a dance or performance, just know the suit snags easily, is not strong, and may only be a one use garment depending on performance. That said a regular size will accommodate allot of sizes. An XL is too big even for an adult size 16. It stretches to an Adult size 24.
It did not suit our needs. It was too thin and we. Ended the typical nylon spandex shiny more durable catsuits.
